Agape Construction, founded by Kevin O’Brien in 1985, is an Award-Winning Design and Build Firm located in Kirkwood, Missouri. Teaming up with talented and nationally recognized architect, Laurie Smith, Agape has the ability to take clients from concept to completion.

Our Design & Build team has over 200 years of combined Remodeling and new Custom Home Building Experience. Well-known for the outstanding quality of their work, attention to detail and dedication to our homeowners’ satisfaction. Agape’s craftsmen and skilled tradesmen are the finest in the area. Our goal is to be the most trusted and ethical Remodeler / Builder in the St. Louis area.

Kevin & Amy O'Brien

(Kevin) OWNER, FOUNDER, ENGINEER
(Amy) CO-FOUNDER

Kevin & Amy founded Agape Construction Company in 1985. In addition to being a registered Professional Engineer, he is a certified Journeyman Carpenter with extensive experience in residential construction, remodeling, and custom new homes. Kevin believes that all aspects of Agape should be handled with honesty and integrity, and thoroughly enjoys the building process.

Recently Amy retired from guiding the Marketing and HR departments after a solid 14 years. She still enjoys meeting with clients and seeing finished projects.

Ted O’Toole

Dedicated and well rounded, Ted is familiar with all aspects of residential remodeling and custom home building.

As an Agape employee for 17 years, Ted has served and excelled in many capacities. With experience both as a Lead Framing Carpenter in the field, and as Project Consultant / Sales and Design Manager in the office, Ted is the perfect fit for Chief Operating Officer. He is knowledgeable and gets along well with everyone,
