Lake St. Louis New Home Build
The recently married Moores were looking to start their new life together in a new home. They wanted to be close to their family in Lake St. Louis, so they called on Agape Construction for their custom-built craftsman style 3000 square foot home.
This lakeside house made sure to showcase all the picturesque views throughout the home with large picture windows and wraparound porches.
They envisioned a welcoming lake-side house that was uniquely theirs and could serve as a retreat from the hustle and bustle of life.
Desiring an open concept floor plan that maximized their views of the lake as well as individual offices, a fully stocked kitchen, first floor master suite, and a fabulous lower level entertainment space with walk-out access to the lake, they called upon Agape to transform their dreams into reality.
Craftsman Style Home Exteriors and Porches
The home showcases Traditional Craftsman Style with some modern flare. Just inside the entrance, guests are greeted by a breath-taking view of the lake framed by a comfortable living room.
The vaulted ceiling and large wood trusses above guide your eyes to the lake, ensuring this beautiful view is the focal point as soon as you enter.
Custom Stone Fireplace
The stone fireplace is flanked by custom bookshelves which anchor the space and provides warmth (and heat) for the seating area.
Large Open Plan Living Space
Connected by an open floor plan and warm, engineered hickory hardwood floors throughout, the nearby kitchen boasts a custom dark copper range hood, Arabesque tile, and classic soft cream cabinets.
The living room opens onto a long upper deck. The horizontal tensile wire railing virtually disappears to not hinder the lake view while still providing safety.
Two wings at the rear of the house give additional lake views and provide the back decks and patio some privacy.
One contains the dining area with a vaulted pyramid ceiling and walls painted a rich tone highlighted by LEDs for some dramatic mood lighting at night.

Master Suite
The other first floor wing contains the master bedroom suite. Agape built out two custom closets and a master bath, in addition to the unique master bedroom, with a coffered ceiling.
Basement Living Space
The views continue into the downstairs living space. As is often the case with lake front homes, there is more living space in the fully finished walk out lower level.
A major focal point is the fully stocked contemporary bar featuring wave tile and stainless-steel floating shelves, which adjoins the entertainment area and outdoor living space.
The upper level 12’ wide sliding glass doors are repeated below giving the gathering room a full view of the lake.
New Home Office
Just beyond the entertaining area is Kelsey’s office, furnished with custom built-in bookshelves handcrafted by Agape’s Master Carpenter.
Outdoor Entertainment Space
Outside, a screened-in porch on the bottom deck provides dining space over a small portion of the spacious custom stamped and stained concrete patio.
The backyard includes a terraced patio on the lake, along with a fire pit area and boat slip. This outdoor space is perfect for year-round enjoyment!
